BSA 106 New Zealand Animator or Director of note

Director of New Zealand of Note.

Lee Tamahori Directed the New Zealand film Once Were Warriors 1994 of which made a massive impact on NZ as a nation due to its very gritty truths about how New Zealand was in the time of the movie produced by Comunicado Productions and the New Zealand film commission

This film had was extremely gritty and spoke m any truths about NZ as was at the time the film was made alcohol abuse and male bravado along with many other aspects of 1990s life in New Zealand.

For some this film rang too close to home and was treated like lies for other s it brought pitty to young Maori children and as well as sexual abuse awareness with in house holds of  New Zealand an extremely powerful film indeed.
