The
film and it’s theme song “who’s afraid of the big bad wolf” came to express the
hope and resilience of the American people during harsh economic times the three little pigs were a cartoon based on the times of war and simultaneously reassuring Americans that the war will be won and the bad guys (Soviets) will run away and the war will be over one day (the Wolf).
